HOW TO SWITCH PROTOCOL ON WINDOWS APP

Prior to changing protocols within the VPNBolt VPN app, ensure you disconnect first. You can modify and switch the VPN protocol by disabling the “Automatic Protocol Selection” option.

It’s important to note that the VPN protocol you select can affect your connection’s performance. Be sure to choose the suitable protocol when connecting to a VPN server. While VPNBolt VPN suggests the automatic protocol for optimal settings, you have the flexibility to manually switch to a different protocol if needed.

Protocol Guide:

– Wireguard: (Recommended)

Wireguard offers a swift and secure VPN connection for browsing and streaming.

– UDP:

UDP is primarily employed for streaming and downloading, offering a fast VPN connection with moderate encryption.

– TCP:

TCP is more reliable but slightly slower, typically used for web browsing.

– IKEv2:

IKEv2 is one of the fastest VPN protocols, providing a stable connection, and is usually used for streaming and downloading.
